I am so glad you are here! In case you don't already know me, my name is Bridget. I'm 39 years old and a mom of 2 boys and currently reside in Central Alabama. I was adopted into the Kingdom of God at the age of 17 (almost 21 years ago) and though I am not big on titles, I am what some would consider a seer and prophetic intercessor. Jesus is my best friend!  From a young age I would always have dreams that consisted of going into the enemy's camp/territory to help set people free, to being handed keys that would unlock doors for people, and in return lock doors behind them keeping the enemy out. Over the years God has made it very clear to me what my assignment would be.

In 2021 God moved me from a little Baptist Church in Clanton AL. called Mt. Bethel, that I had been a part of and served in for 17 years and placed me at The Church At Bethel located in Thorsby, AL where I encountered God as a Father. In 2022/2023 I was led to attend TM School of Ministry that is located in Birmingham, Alabama that specializes in counseling, inner healing, and deliverance. After 2 semesters I was led by the Holy Spirit to change routes as my season and alignments had changed so I did not complete the certification with the school. I was, however, thankful for that time I was able to gain further equipping and the tools needed in helping others to be set free with the help of the Holy Spirit. As I stepped into 2025 the Father led me to where I currently reside now which is at House Of The Promise that is located in Clanton, AL. With every transition and new alignment there has come so many lessons, growth, opportunities, and revelation to God's character that was met with freedom that only He could have beautifully orchestrated. Some being freedom from religion and others being me just finally stepping into beloved identity. As He continues to walk beside me, I am encouraged and excited to keep moving forward to what He has next for me because I know what He began in me, He will finish, for my good, and for His Glory!

With the biblical tools and wisdom I received over the years, God's Word, Prayer, & with the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, the Father has led me to help people find the root issues that may have caused any spiritual open doors that need to be dealt with and then closed so the individual can begin to heal and overall be set free. We all are born with baggage (generational sin/iniquity) and then gain further baggage as we go throughout life. We live in a fallen world. Over time the enemy gains spiritual territory by finding legal grounds (permission) that we have unintentionally given him to wreak havoc in our lives. But we have the authority in Jesus, as a child of God, to take back that territory and strip the enemy of those rights. The Father wants to see His children set free and to give back what the enemy stole!

My heart is to not only help people pinpoint their root issues that maybe keeping them held back from walking in their fullness and wholeness in Jesus but to also help them to see who they really are in the Father and who He is by sharing His heart and truth with them through the word, prophetic encouragement, counseling, and intercession. I also love to mentor/disciple others as they continue towards the goal of pursuing and deepening their relationship with Him.

Nothing compares to the love and the heart of the Father! Though the journey may not be an easy one, know it is well worth it. I am so thankful, grateful, and blessed for everything Papa God has done and is doing and is going to do in my life and in the lives of those around me. There is no adventure or amazing journey quite like the one you can have with the one who gave it all for you and I give Him all the Glory! I encourage everyone to have their own close intimate relationship with Him. He wants to speak to you and He in return wants you to talk to Him. Take time for Him every single day. Read His word and get into the secret place. Get to "KNOW" Him! He's waiting for you...

May the Lord Bless You and Keep You! Always... your sister in Christ

- xoxo Bridget

What is a Prophetic Intercessor & Seer?

Intercessory prayer is simply praying on behalf of others. And when this is teamed up with a prophetic gift it can be powerful.

Prophetic prayer occurs when we pray with insights (prophetic revelation) received from the Holy Spirit. We may receive these insights during prayer, or pray about the revelation that has already been received.

We can all pray prophetically. However, a prophetic intercessor is not only equipped with insight from the Spirit. The prophetic intercessor becomes the vessel through whom the Spirit Himself prays.

‘In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.’ (Rom 8:26-27)

The Ministry of the Prophetic Intercessor

“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” (Ezek 22:30)

Anna is a Biblical example of a prophetic intercessor. She poured years into her God-given assignment of praying in the temple, leading up to Jesus the Messiah’s birth. (Luke 2:36-38)

It has often been said, that not all intercessors are prophets; but all prophets are called to intercede. And in the Bible, we see specific examples of those in a prophetic office. They took time to pray and intercede for those people and situations they ministered into.

The Ministry of the Seer

Within the overall realm of the prophet lies the particular and distinctive realm of the Seer. The word “seer” describes a particular type of prophet who receives a particular type of prophetic revelation or impartation.

The Old Testament uses two words primarily to refer to a seer: ra’ah and chozeh. Ra’ah literally means “to see,” particularly in the sense of seeing visions. Other meanings include to “gaze,” to “look upon,” and to “perceive.” Chozeh literally means “a beholder in vision” and can also be translated as “gazer” or “stargazer.”

With these definitions now in place, the distinction between a prophet (nabiy’) and a seer (ra’ah or chozeh) becomes a little clearer. When it comes to prophetic revelation, a prophet is primarily an inspired hearer and then speaker, while a seer is primarily visual. In other words, the prophet is the communicative dimension and the seer is the receptive dimension. Whereas nabiy emphasizes the active work of the prophet in speaking forth a message from God, ra’ah and chozeh focus on the experience or means by which the prophet “sees or perceives” that message.

The first lays emphasis on a prophet’s relationship with the people; the other, on their revelatory relationship with God.

The Power of the Seer Anointing

Everyone needs a vision to sustain them in life. Proverbs 29:18 states,“Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is he who keeps the law.” This verse in the New International Version reads: “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.”

Some other translations, such as the New Revised Standard Version, use the word “prophecy” instead of “vision” or “revelation.” The point is clear: without prophecy, without divine revelation or vision, people will cast off all restraint. They will run wild because they have no guidance – no vision. The Word of God – His law – provides vision and guidance for living, and those who follow it are blessed.

As Christians, we are called to be a people of vision. We must learn to set a goal or target in front of our eyes to gaze upon. It is only when we aim at something that we have any chance of hitting it! The apostle Paul set his sights on knowing Christ, which he acknowledged was a lifelong process: Philippians 3:13-15a 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude.”

Like Paul, we need to be a people of vision. Let us set our sights on the Lord and aim at His goals. The seer will move your heart and stir up your hunger for intimacy with God, because “the seer’s goal is to reveal the man Christ Jesus!”

WHAT IS A SEER.....By Bob Jones

What is a seer? A seer is everything. Prophets are the eyes, but seers are the entire head: eyes, smell, taste and feelings. That is what Isaiah 29:10 says:

He has shut your eyes, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, the seers.

A seer is everything. I like to use a hot loaf of bread to explain this gifting. With your eyes open, you can see it. But if your eyes are closed, I can tell you it is there, and you will be able to "see" it with your ears. I can put it under your nose, and you can smell it. I can put it in your mouth, and you can taste it. You can feel it in your hands. As a seer, you can move in all five realms, and because of that, you are more discerning. The enemy is never able to fully shut you down. The prophet can be momentarily blinded, but if the enemy blinds you, you will still be able to hear, smell, taste and feel. If the enemy comes against your feelings, you'll still be able to see, hear, smell and taste.. A seer prophecies by all five senses, and so the seers move in stronger discernment.

What does this look like? There may be times when you hear a prophecy, and a bad taste will come into your mouth. Your taste is discerning. "This isn't God". But other times when you hear a prophecy, you'll start tasting gold. Whenever I taste gold, I know, "Man that's it. I want to get all if this." God communicates with you through your senses. It takes longer to become a mature seer than to become a mature prophet, because all five senses are involved. You have to learn how to discern your feelings, because there will be times when feelings come to you in ministry and they're not your feelings. And if you take them personally, you won't be active.

The one thing the Church has been tought against is feelings. But that's where you, as a seer, are the most accurate. You can take on how other people are feeling and know exactly how to minister to them. You can move right into their "living room" (their minds) and see what the problem is. You can feel what the person is feeling: depression, self-rejection, joy, anger, happiness. You can feel where they're coming from and know exactly what to go for as you pray for them. So the seer is really strong in deliverance ministry.

The prophet can speak the future, but the seer can see what the people need to let go of in the past, tell them what the Lord is saying to them today, and declare what the Lord is offering them tomorrow. You can go right into their minds and see where the pain is coming from and what is still affecting and controlling their lives. Seers can help people forgive - usually themselves, help clean their minds out, and invite the Lord there.

Seers can knock on a person's front door, come in, and visit with that person without saying a word. A prophet can only prophecy as the faith arises. A lot of times, a prophet is just a person who really comes forth in faith, and that faith activates him so he can speak clearly. That is what Nathan the prophet was. He prophecies by the faith that rose in him. But a seer can have all five senses.

A seer can feel the strongholds of a town. If you enter a town and feel lust, lust owns that town. If you feel depression, it's a depressed place. As you come in there, you'll take on the feelings of that town, country, or person, whether they are good or bad. You'll know where there is self-rejection, because of what you feel. If you're ministering to somebody who has self-rejection, you'll feel it coming at yourself, and you must never take any of these things personally.

One of the strongest things to minister to is spirits of self-rejection. Suicidal spirits come through these spirits. A seer will feel these things. if you think they are coming from yourself, you will be totally unprofitable. So you need to have all these senses sanctified and be able to tell, This is not me. I am not in self-rejection. I love myself.

I can taste and see that He is good. You can also smell what's happening. You can discern what's wrong with a church or a city of even a nation, because you can smell it. You can smell sin, corruption, and holiness. That's what 2 cor. 2:14 says: "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." So you can smell the sweet incense of the Lord. You can smell His presence when He comes out of people, for the kingdom is inside of us. You can actually smell when a person really yields to God.

You can discern what's going on with people through their incense. You can do it with your taste: "Taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8). You can do it through your feelings, through your sight, through the things you hear.

Seers are kicked out of a lot of churches, because you are the least understood of all the gifts. You are one who feels like you don't fit any place except with other seers. Because of your revelation and dreams and the way God communicates with you, people think you're loony. But when churches reject you, they're bidding good-bye to their own mercy. As a seer, you are there for mercy. You are there to help bring healing to the people and show them what God is doing.

It's time for the seer to come forth. The Church needs you. It is time for the seer to mature and be used.

Counseling vs. Mentorship: What’s the Difference?

Christian counseling and mentorship serve as essential tools for personal growth, spiritual development, and healing. Whether one is struggling with emotional burdens, spiritual doubts, or simply seeking guidance in navigating life’s complexities, the power of Christian counseling and mentorship cannot be overstated. Rooted in biblical principles, these two ministries provide a holistic approach to life, addressing the mind, body, and spirit.

The Purpose of Christian Counseling

Christian counseling is a means of aligning oneself with the truths found in the Bible. Proverbs 11:14 says, “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors, there is safety.” The purpose of Christian counseling is to offer guidance that not only comforts but also empowers individuals to live lives that are pleasing to God.

The goal of counseling is to provide biblical wisdom in times of confusion, sorrow, and distress. Unlike secular counseling, Christian counseling takes a faith-based approach, ensuring that the advice given is not just about mental health but also about spiritual healing. A counselor is equipped to help individuals overcome issues like anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, and marital problems, while pointing them back to Christ as the ultimate source of comfort and restoration.

Biblical Foundation for Christian Counseling

Christian counseling is deeply rooted in Scripture. 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us that, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” A Christian counselor utilizes Scripture to help individuals see their problems through a biblical lens, offering comfort in God’s promises and redirecting them towards His plan for their lives.

Another key verse is Proverbs 15:22, which states, “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.” Christian counseling operates on the premise that Godly advice brings success—not necessarily in worldly terms but in alignment with God’s will and purpose. It teaches that life’s struggles are opportunities for growth, faith, and a closer relationship with God.

The Role of Mentorship in Christian Life

In addition to counseling, Christian mentorship provides individuals with a deep and meaningful relationship where they can grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Titus 2:3-5 gives us a perfect example of mentorship in action: older women are encouraged to mentor younger women, teaching them to live holy lives, to love their husbands and children, and to be kind and self-controlled.

Christian mentorship is not just about imparting knowledge or giving advice. It’s about discipleship—walking alongside someone, praying for them, holding them accountable, and helping them grow in their relationship with Christ. This long-term relationship is built on trust, wisdom, and biblical truths, making it a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee.

The Importance of Biblical Mentorship

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us that “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.” This verse speaks to the heart of Christian mentorship. No one is meant to walk through life alone. God created us for community, and mentorship is a vital part of that community.

Mentorship is essential for Christian growth because it gives individuals an opportunity to learn from someone who has walked the path before them. Whether it’s spiritual wisdom, life experience, or navigating challenging times, mentors provide the guidance and support necessary for growth. They help mentees stay grounded in Scripture, stay focused on their faith, and stay committed to living a life that glorifies God.

The Benefits of Christian Counseling and Mentorship

While both Christian counseling and mentorship aim to support personal and spiritual growth, they do so in different ways. Counseling is often short-term, focusing on specific issues that need immediate resolution. It is more structured and professional, often led by someone who has training in counseling or therapy of some sort. Christian counselors do not have to be certified to counsel others.

On the other hand, mentorship is long-term and relational. It’s less about fixing a specific problem and more about walking with someone through the journey of faith. Mentorship is not limited to moments of crisis but is an ongoing relationship that fosters growth and development over time.

Benefits of Christian Counseling and Mentorship

Both counseling and mentorship offer numerous benefits to individuals and communities.

1. Spiritual Guidance

One of the key benefits of both Christian counseling and mentorship is the spiritual guidance they provide. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Through counseling and mentorship, individuals are directed towards the Word of God, which illuminates their path and helps them make wise decisions.

2. Emotional Healing

Life can be overwhelming at times, and emotional struggles can be debilitating. Psalm 34:18 tells us that, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Christian counseling provides a safe space for individuals to heal from past hurts, trauma, and emotional pain, all while being reassured of God’s love and presence.

3. Accountability

Both Christian counseling and mentorship offer accountability. Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Mentorship and counseling relationships create an environment where individuals are held accountable for their actions, spiritual growth, and decisions. This accountability is key to making lasting changes and maintaining a strong relationship with God.

4. Improved Relationships

Whether it’s marriage counseling, family counseling, or personal mentoring, relationships are often at the core of the work done through Christian counseling and mentorship. Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Through counseling and mentorship, individuals learn to forgive, love, and communicate better, leading to stronger, healthier relationships.

5. Personal Growth

James 1:5 reminds us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” Christian counseling and mentorship help individuals grow personally by guiding them towards Godly wisdom. Whether it’s understanding Scripture more deeply or learning how to manage emotions and relationships in a Christ-centered way, these relationships foster spiritual maturity.

Conclusion: The Lasting Impact of Christian Counseling and Mentorship

The benefits of Christian counseling and mentorship are undeniable. From spiritual guidance to emotional healing, accountability, and improved relationships, these relationships offer individuals the opportunity to grow in their faith and live lives that honor God. Whether you are struggling with a specific issue or simply want to deepen your relationship with Christ, Christian counseling and mentorship can provide the support and wisdom you need.

As Proverbs 19:20 says, “Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.” Embrace the power of Godly counsel and mentorship to experience lasting transformation and growth in your spiritual journey.

Does it cost anything to receive Counseling or Mentoring from me?

I do not charge for any counseling/mentoring that the Father leads me to do.

How do I receive Counseling or Mentorship?

If you feel led to reach out to me for any reason or if you feel like you are in need of counseling or someone to just talk to please don't hesitate to reach out. You can message me on any of my socials or you can fill out the contact section here and I will reach back out to you!

Please note that any and all information discussed will be kept confidential at all times unless someone is in harms way or is harming others. In this case I will reach out to those who can help assist with whatever the situation maybe.

I am also not considered a "licensed" or "certified" counselor. All counseling and mentorship is based off of years of personal life experience, biblical teaching, and some training that I have recieved through the years as well as being guided by the Holy Spirit.

My future goal and prayer is to have my own office where there is a safe place for others to come to be counseled/mentored. God is currently working this out and I am just in the waiting. In the mean time I am able to meet in locations that are best suitable for myself and each individual, I can do zoom/video chat, talk on the phone, email, or text.

As of today, I currently attend and am apart of House of the Promise (HOTP) that is pastored by Justin & Destiny Smith located in Clanton, Alabama (Central, Alabama/The heart of the state)
