As I sat in prayer tonight at church I heard the Father say ABIDE , ABIDE , ABIDE! Tell my children they need to Abide in me and make time for the secret place. Then I saw Eagles in the spirit flying above with altitude and I heard Him say I am taking My bride higher in this season. I want to take them higher. But they must abide in me! Then I was given Isaiah 43:2 that says “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
There is about to be a lot to take place in the days, months, and even years ahead as time is short. We must make it a priority to abide in the Father and spend time with Him in the secret place so we can receive strategic instructions, insight, and revelation. This is why the enemy has been fighting many of us so hard with distractions, being tired, extra busy, and not able to focus just to name a few. Then there are some that just feel like they are still not good enough but the Father wants us to know that we are more than enough.
In the Bible, "abide" means to remain, continue, or live in a close relationship with God. It can also mean to trust, love, and obey God. Explanation-Abiding in Christ: Abiding in Christ is the position of all true believers. It's a permanent relationship with God, not just a superficial acquaintance.
Abiding in the word: Abiding in the word means to never stop reading and learning from the Bible.
Abiding in the vine: Abiding in the vine is a metaphor used by Jesus to illustrate the relationship between believers and God. Just as branches can't bear fruit without the vine, believers can't glorify God without abiding in Jesus. Abiding in the Lord: Abiding in the Lord means to rely on God in every aspect of life. Benefits of abiding in Christ Enjoying God's peace and rest, cultivating a heart that's open to growth, and producing good and lasting fruit.
Father, I pray for the one reading this that you will increase their hunger to be in Your word on a daily basis and not only read it but to let it transform them in every area of their life. I pray Father that we can learn how to slow down and choose to abide in You in this season. Help us Father to not be distracted, to help us lay things down including our idols, help us Father to have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts made ready to receive all that You have for us! In Jesus name Amen!
