WHEN BROKENNESS DRAWS US TO PEOPLE WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE WITH
Sometimes it’s not love that draws us to a person …it’s lack.
It’s the little girl or boy inside us, still aching for what we didn’t get from our mother, our father, or those who should’ve protected and nurtured us.
So when someone shows us even a flicker of what we lacked such as attention, affection, validation, protection ....we attach ourselves.
Not because they’re our Kingdom assignment but because they filled a void.
And instead of ministering to them like we were supposed to…
we tried to date, fix, or even save them. But God never called us to carry what only He can heal.
We weren’t supposed to marry our mission. We weren’t meant to be emotionally entangled with our ministry. We were trying to heal ourselves by healing them… but ended up more broken.
BUT THERE’S GRACE FOR THAT.
You don’t need to stay stuck in shame or regret. You can be free. You can forgive yourself. You can start again. God’s not mad at you , He wants to restore you.
PRAYER OF HEALING & RELEASE:
Heavenly Father,I bring You every place in me that was drawn to others out of my brokenness. Forgive me for trying to fix what only You can heal both in them, and in me. Forgive me for confusing ministry with intimacy, and calling a soul tie a love story. I release every relationship that was rooted in lack, not love. I forgive myself for what I didn’t know then. I forgive them for not being who I hoped they would be. Heal my heart, restore my identity, and fill every void with Your perfect love. I surrender it all to You, and I choose freedom. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You are not too far gone. You are not damaged goods. You are deeply seen, deeply loved, and deeply redeemed.
Your healing is holy. And your story isn't over. It's being rewritten by the hands of the Father.
