Are You Feeling Heavy? | Bridget Marcus

If you’re feeling heavy, weary, or stuck — I want to remind you today:

The Father sees you. He knows every burden you’ve been carrying, even the ones you’ve learned to hide. The parts of your heart that still feel broken, bruised, or guarded — He’s not avoiding them. He’s leaning into them.

Healing is still His desire for you. Wholeness is still His portion for you. Freedom is still His promise to you.

You don’t have to live in survival mode, pretending you’re okay when deep down you’re barely holding it together. The Father is not asking you to perform for Him. He’s asking you to bring Him your pain, your confusion, your anger, your disappointment — all of it.

Because He is still the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds-Psalm 147:3

He is still the One who sets the captives free and exchanges ashes for beauty, mourning for joy, and heaviness for praise- Isaiah 61

Deliverance is not just about being set free from the demonic — it’s about being restored to the truth of who you really are in Christ. It’s about reclaiming your identity, your peace, and your authority.

Our Heavenly Father would say, “You don’t have to stay here. There’s more. There’s healing for that wound. There’s freedom for that place you feel bound. There’s clarity for the confusion you’ve been sitting in. And I want to walk you through it — if you’ll let Me.”

You are not too far gone. You are not too messy. Your pain is not too complicated for Him.

Today is not the end of your story — it’s the beginning of your freedom.

Prayer:Father, I give You the places in my heart that are still hurting, still broken, still confused. I’ve carried things I was never meant to carry. I’ve hidden pain I was too afraid to face. But today, I choose to invite You in.

Heal me from the inside out. Deliver me from every lie that has kept me bound. Restore my identity in You. I don’t want to just survive — I want to live whole, healed, and free. Holy Spirit, guide me in this journey of healing and show me the steps I need to take. I trust You to finish what You started in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
