There’s a sobering truth we often overlook... every choice carries weight. Actions birth consequences. We can’t plant one thing and expect to harvest another. The Word makes it clear...“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” – Galatians 6:7

God’s grace is deep and wide, but it was never meant to be taken for granted. Grace is a space to repent, to turn, to grow and not a license to remain in rebellion. When we continually ignore conviction, we dull our sensitivity to His Spirit. Over time, what we thought was “grace covering us” becomes the evidence of our hardened hearts.

Accountability is the bridge between mercy and maturity. It’s where we stop blaming others, stop making excuses, and instead take ownership for our decisions. When we own it, God can heal it. When we confess it, God can cleanse it.

Remember this: sin may offer pleasure for a moment, but the harvest will always come. And the longer we sow seeds of disobedience, the heavier the crop we will one day reap.

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” – Proverbs 28:13

So choose wisely what you sow. Plant forgiveness, reap peace. Plant obedience, reap blessing. Plant truth, reap freedom.

Grace gives us the opportunity to change, but accountability ensures we do.
