This morning I heard in my spirit:“What the enemy meant for evil, God is using for His children’s good and for His glory.” (Genesis 50:20, Romans 8:28)
Yet, I am also discerning that something doesn’t set right. I’m reminded to “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10) and to remember that “the spirit of the antichrist… is already in the world.” (1 John 4:3)
Not everything is what it seems.
The Lord spoke to me through a real life situation the other day: I walked out on my front porch and found ten stunned carpenter bees. Which I found to be odd because we hadn't seen any lately. They were alive but unable to move. We picked them up and moved them only to go around the ramp and discover tons of stunned red wasps, also alive but unable to move.
My parents mentioned that the sudden cooler weather had caught them off guard, and I instantly felt the Lord say, “Pay attention.”
The bees represented those in the Kingdom who were taken off guard, becoming vulnerable to the enemy’s attack. The wasps represented the enemy exposed, revealed, and ready to be dealt with. “Nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” (Luke 8:17)
The Lord is saying: Don’t be caught off guard. “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” (Matthew 25:13)
Something is coming that will affect every person. Not just what recently happened either but a further revealing. Something else is upon the horizon. For those with “eyes to see and ears to hear” (Matthew 13:16), they will discern it for what it is and be made ready. Whatever happens will expose hearts and motives and you will see clearly who belongs to Him. “He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:32)
Don’t believe everything you see or hear in the headlines....it’s all noise. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
But here is our hope: no matter what unfolds, God will use it for your good and for His glory. Be found ready.
